Kolby is a lighting designer and programmer originally from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He holds an MFA in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University and BA in Theatre Education from Brigham Young University – Idaho. He is currently an associate professor of theatre at Southern Utah University.

He enjoys exploring new musical instruments, experimenting with technology, and snow skiing. He enjoys collaborating on projects with friends new and old as well as spending time with his young family.
